HEC | Headend Controller
DELTANET – The smart solution for automated data collection and creation of a topographic overview of installed network components, including verification of the collected data. Remote access to DCT DELTA FTTx and HFC components via FSK receiver (FOSTRA-F). On-site configuration of DCT DELTA components via WLAN access. DELTANET based on the three applications DELTANET FOSTRA-F, DELTANET SCANAPP and DELTANET CONFIGAPP, which can be operated independently or in combination:
- DELTANET FOSTRA-F: The simple and cost-effective solution for remote access, including ingress control (supported features depend on the device) with minimal energy consumption and no additional bandwidth usage.
- DELTANET SCANAPP: The app (available for Android, iOS, and Windows) assists with network setup – registering nodes/amplifiers by scanning corresponding QR codes, and provides a database-supported, topology-based network overview. Automatic verification prevents duplicate assignments of ports or wavelengths. Uploadable images/photos of the installed components and configuration complete the data collection, providing an additional source of information, especially for maintenance and service.
- DELTANET CONFIGAPP: The app (available for Android, iOS, and Windows) allows you to configure Delta Nodes/amplifiers using tablets or smartphones via Wi-Fi. The FOSTRA-C module, which is temporarily plugged into the corresponding slot on the node/amplifier, serves as the wireless access point. Configurations made on-site can thus be saved, and pre-configured settings can be easily imported.
